We recently reported that Lauren London is set to replace Tia Mowry on the next season of ‘The Game,” and that their in the process of searching for a male lead actor to stand by her side. Well, they’ve found that one guy, and now DeadlineHollywood has revealed that 31-year-old actor is none other than Jay Ellis. More details below…

Jay also had previous roles on “Hart of Dixie” and “NCIS,” will play Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbrook, a.k.a. Blue, a star running back from the Ivy League who rubs some of the Sabers the wrong way.

Though plot details are under wraps, Jay’s character is expected to have a relationship with Lauren’s ‘former child star’ character on the show.

Jay, himself, is a military divo who lived all over the world with his parents while growing up. And also went to Concordia University on a basketball scholarship. So it seems like his real life experiences could help his on-screen character.
