31 year-old Beyonce has just released her new promo pics for her Pepsi Ad campaign with reports claiming she has inked a $50 million contract with the major soda retailer.
With 2012 ending with a lot of plans, live concerts, and working hard in the studio on her next album, Bey is definitely not holding back. Here’s what her general manager, Lee Anne Callahan-Longo, revealed to the New York Times on just how big this $50 million deal is to the Beyonce Brand:
“It’s wise for a brand like Pepsi to give an artist the ability to truly express herself, instead of just the old-school way of, ‘Do you want to be in an advertisement?’ This is much bigger. This is, ‘How can we creating something together that is truly unique?’ “
Bey, who jetted down to Miami for the Art Basel festivities, also had this to say:
“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
The new Ad campaign is set to run during or leading up to the 2013 superbowl in February along with her new HBO documentary.
Also, Beyonce is set to perform live at the New Years Eve invitation only bash at the Wynn-Encore in Las Vegas with over 700 guests in attendance.
The pop diva also cleared a check for $4 million for this special event. Way to go Bey!
