Recently, TMZ reported that “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Porsha Williams was locked out of her home–a home she once shared with her ex-husband Kordell Stewart and his son–after Kordell changed the locks.
Now, Kordell and his legal team quickly filed documents explaining why he changed the locks on their Atlanta mansion.
According to Mr. Stewart, “I only changed the locks on my home on April 2nd, because my wife abandoned me and my son.”
Kordell tells HipHollywood:
“Porsha established a routine of leaving the house without explanation and without consideration of the detrimental effects such behavior would have on us and my nine year old son.”
The former NFL baller states that he informed his ex-wife (officially divorced on March 22nd) about the locks being changed via text, which reads:
“Hey reaching out not knowing who may or may not have keys to the house at this point, I was concerned for our safety so I changed the locks on the house. If and when you need to get in give me a heads up so you can get in.”
Lastly, he says that he shouldn’t have to provide for Porsha as she is now a celebrity who is making her own money by doing appearances and reality TV:
“She is a celebrity, and has the income through appearances, endorsements, Bravo and other entities …(Porsha) should be capable of supporting herself but may not be able to as a result of her own financial negligence.”
