Rapper Mack Maine has turned himself in following a felony assault charge for attacking a female fan and breaking her jaw in a tour bus hook-up gone wrong. The incident happened during Lil Wayne‘s concert in Oklahoma City on August 22.
According to reports, Maine, whose real name is Jermaine Anthony Preyan, turned himself in on Friday on charges of aggravated sexual battery and sexual battery.
Defense Attorney Tony Coleman says a not guilty plea was entered on Maine’s behalf in Oklahoma County District Court today.
And as previously reported, “The two women in question claim Mack Maine invited them onto Weezy’s tour bus after a concert, fondled them and then got angry when they tried to leave.”
The victims (Rachel Reed and Cailey Maddox) claimed Mack held the bus door closed to prevent them from getting off but once the door was open one girl left and when she turned around to call her friend Mack punched her in the face breaking her jaw and knocking her to the ground.
The 33-year-old Cash Money member and President of “Young Money Records” (founded by Weezy) was later freed on bond with no court date set.
