After being named Global Ambassador for the Toronto Raptors franchise back in September, the Raptors have just dropped this new video of “Young Money” rapper Drake talking about his union with the team and why he loves his city.
The 27-year-old “Nothing Was The Same” hitmaker is currently in charged of creating a new look for the upcoming 2014-15 season and publicizing the NBA team, who are looking to go to new heights of relevancy.
And as previously reported, the team is getting a new logo and new colors, all of which will lead up to the 2016 All-Star Game that will be hosted in Toronto. That’s probably around the same time Drake will be ready to release his next album.
Also, this past week Drake debuted his Hit-Boy produced record “Trophies” which didn’t make his freshly released album, Nothing Was The Same, while he was at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The new track has been a topic of discussion ever since Drizzy teased fans about it back in September.
