“Fast and the Furious” Paul Walker dead at 40….Rep Confirms Fatal Car Crash In Southern California! [PHOTO]

Actor Paul Walker, well known for his role in the mega hit movie “Fast and the Furious,” has reportedly died in a car accident that occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in Santa Clarita — outside of Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, the 40-year-old actor apparently lost control of his Porsche and crashed into a tree. The car instantly burst into flames and exploded giving the actor and its passengers no time to escape. CBS news also reports that the crash took place on 28300, a block of Rye Canyon Loop in Valencia.

Authorities are however still investigating the accident but TMZ reports Walker and another person (yet to be identified) in the vehicle died in the one-car accident. Despite folks buzzing that the incident was a hoax, it’s still unclear who was driving at the time.

Walker’s rep Ame Van Iden confirmed the actor’s passing, saying; “Sadly I must confirm that Paul did pass away this afternoon.” via ABCNews
