With a baby on the way, actress Kerry Washington will be the only working parent in her marriage as her baller husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, announced Friday that he has retired from football after 11 seasons in the NFL.
According to the 32-year-old Oakland Raider, “I’ve been blessed and fortunate to have a successful NFL career. Another journey is starting for me right now.”
He adds (during the press conference at the team’s headquarters), “You start getting these feelings — it’s time. I just felt that it was the right time.”
Us Weekly first broke the news about Washington, 36, and the athlete expecting their first child together in late October.
