I guess with his high-class lawyer wife Phaedra Parks‘ income and Bravo’s checks were just not enough for this former convict as he has been reportedly charged with bank fraud and identity theft.
Since he first appeared on Bravo hit show, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” viewers and cast-mates have been wanting to know what Phaedra’s husband, Apollo Nida‘s does for a living, and now we know, because he was allegedly questioned by US Marshals and appeared before the US District Court on Thursday, Jan. 23.
According to a website, Alexandre Herrera, a U.S. Secret Service Agent in the Conterfeit and U.S. Treasury Check Squad, claimed that the reality star created fake companies and ripped off individuals by opening up fake bank accounts using their real names.
He was allegedly identified by Gayla St. Julien, who was tied to at least 40 different bank accounts with a total of close to $3 million in fraudulent funds.
Nida, who served nearly five years for racketeering from 2004-2009, has since been granted pretrial bail, and Parks remains numb about the incident.
It was also confirmed last year that Parks would be getting her own spin-off show about her legal career, titled Rich People’s Problems.
