After finding out she won Best Urban Contemporary Album for her latest album, Rihanna told GMA, “I was so shocked. Really, I was at home and one of my friends hit me and said you just won a Grammy and I was like, what. I went on the Internet and I just saw ‘Unapologetic.’
She adds, “It was quite an emotional moment surprisingly but I was in shock.” When asked about upcoming music projects, she adds,”Music is what I love to do, so you’ll never have to worry about me not doing that.”
When it comes to being called a “role model”, the singer told host Robin Roberts:
“I don’t like to use that word because people have their own opinion on what that means to them. I can’t really say I’m a role model. I’m not perfect. I’m not trying to sell that,” she says. “I want people to have fun but be responsible, protect themselves and be in control of your life. You can never judge people. I always made that a point. You never know what someone is going through.”
GMA shared several photos of Rihanna photobombing — on set of Good Morning America — the castmates of Full House John Stamos, Dave Coulier, and Bob Saget.
The men were also on hand to promote their Super Bowl commercial for Dannon Oikos yogurt.
