This week, rumors swirled (first originated from a MTO & Onion-inspired website) about rapper Bow Wow being fired from BET’s “106 & Park” by publishing a fake statement from BET’s executive regarding the rapper’s firing.
The website claimed 26-year-old Bow Wow had been let go for charging “$30,000 in child support to the company’s credit card that was issued for wardrobe and travel.”
Sure enough, the rapper took to his personal Twitter account to set the record straight.
“@HipHopture: @YMCMB_BW clear it for fans bro !! Clear what? That ill see yall at 6pm tomorrow live on TV like i do err day whats changed?” he tweeted on Wednesday.
He later instagram’d a photo (above) of himself on set of a photoshoot with Ebony Magazine, inside his wardrobe with caption:
In my closet at @106andpark right now doing my Ebony Magazine photo shoot. Theres some things that can be stopped, but my hustle is in motion our plan is to take over the world!
