On Friday night, Chris Brown and new manager Bu Thiam attended the 2nd Call awards event to celebrate he many life changing achievements including work he’s done following his charitable contributions to the Compton, Calif. community.
Chris, who was granted permission to leave Rehab to attend the award ceremony, calls the moment “really inspiring” and shared a photo via Instagram of his award with caption, “Thank you 2nd Call for this amazing award tonight!“.
A source said the 24-year-old entertainer stayed for more than two hours, appeared to be healthy, in ‘good spirits’ and warmly greeted people who came to his table. The 2nd Call event is an avenue of hope, reconnecting participants to motivate themselves to change.
And speaking of Rehab, Chris has reportedly extended his 90-day stay at the Malibu Rehabilitation Center in California., after checking in to the center last November (2013). ‘It was his choice,’ a source close to the musician told E! News. ‘He will come out soon.’
Brown was spotted at Universal CityWalk shooting the video for his latest single “Loyal” featuring Lil Wayne, French Montana, and Too $hort on Saturday, hours before he released a new single called “B*tches” featuring rapper Tyga… which will appear Breezy’s new mixtape “Fan of a Fan 2.“

Hold up, there’s already more drama coming Breezy’s way! Today, the singer is also accusing his former manager Tina Davis of leaking his music…. following accusations of Davis trying to set him up to fight Surge Knight.
Davis quickly fired back, saying:
“@chrisbrown Trace it! Find out where it originated from…RCA can do that for you. Then send a defaming tweet out on who really did it.”
Chris is currently being represented by Def Jam VP of A&R and Akon‘s brother, Bu Thiam.
