Former “Basketball Wives: Miami” star Tami Roman is currently recovering from a diabetic emergency that put her in the hospital on Wednesday.
The reality TV star say she fainted inside her second home in Houston due to dehydration and was found by her daughter who immediately called 911. She was later rushed to the hospital to seek medical attention.
43-year-old Roman, who is diagnosed with Diabetes, was released early Thursday morning after receiving treatment.
According to the YBF, Roman’s publicist released a statement updating fans on her progress.
“Tami is rehabilitating at a private hospital in Houston and is expected to make a full recovery. Tami is currently filming two TV shows, traveling back and forth between Houston & Los Angeles so her body became overwhelmed.”
This gal has been super busy working on her own reality spin-off, Roman Empire, which was set to start filming earlier this month. In addition to her reality TV spin-off, Tami’s also giving scripted TV a chance and will be featured in the Steven Spielberg directed CBS show, Extant, starring Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry.
And if that wasn’t enough, the New York native, who has a home in New Jersey, has been busy promoting her lip gloss and nail polish line, which is now available nationwide at superchain Walgreens. Oh, and did we mention that Tami’s also working on a self-help book entitled Mistresses 101? Via Wetpaint
