Still awaiting his upcoming court hearing on charges of bank fraud and identity theft, earlier this week another alleged charity scheme involving “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality star Apollo Nida surfaced online.
According to Radar Online, Chase DeCarlo of Dio Bambini claims he reached out to Nida and his RHOA co-star Kandi Burruss, to host a charity event for battered women and children in Chicago on May 2nd. Nida requested $2000 upfront for his appearance.
DeCarlo says he felt “really leery” about paying Nida $2k in advance because of the reality star’s April 25th court date, which raised a concern that he could be a “no show” at the event due to a possible conviction a week before the event.
In an attempt to clear his name, Nida responded to DeCarlo’s claims via YouTube on Wednesday, saying, “if you want to attack me, I decided nowadays that I’m going to attack back,” maybe not the smartest move since he’s going before a judge and jury in three weeks.
“I have a lot of people who are supportive, and you have a lot of haters. People who are not supportive,” he said. “At the end of the day, for you to try to mess up a brand like, Nida Fitness, Apollo Nida is a brand. And so for you to say something so derogatory…the blog site didn’t contact the individual. The individual goes out to contact the blog site and say, ‘hey, this is what I think. Here goes Apollo’s contact. My stuff is official.”
He better get into it, wrap them lips around it lol! Prison is calling his name…again.
Wait a minute! HD Promotions? Wondering if they paid him for a response video also knowing that he’s already selling $7 autographs online. Watch the video below:
