Keyshia Cole Split From Birdman After Being Arrested For Assault On Jumpoff

On Friday morning, R&B singer and soon-to-be a divorcee Keyshia Cole was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman at boyfriend, Birdman, penthouse in Los Angeles.

A spokeswoman for the LAPD told PEOPLE that the Grammy-nominated R&B singer was arrested around 5 a.m. after someone initiated a private person’s arrest. The 32-year-old was booked on suspicion of battery and released from custody Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that after Cole walked in on a mystery woman inside Birdman’s apartment …she quickly became violent. An email message sent to Cole’s publicist was not immediately returned.

An insider tells GWL Magazine that after two months of dating, Cole has called it quits from the Cash Money CEO following his one-night stand with a jumpoff. “Keyshia Cole has been through it all, and just when she thought he was the one, she caught him messing around with a chick that was way younger than her.”

An to prove the relationship is over, Cole took to Instagram last night to take subliminal shots at birdman — all while hinting he cheated. “N–gaz be like ‘ wtf I gotta lie for’ and still be lying,” adding, “My real and your real ain’t the same that’s why we don’t click.”

As previously reported, The “Rick James” singer opened up about her rocky marriage to estrange husband Daniel ‘Bobbi’ Gibson during a 30-minute interview on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club in March (2014).

When asked about their relationship, Cole revealed that she and Daniel are living apart and currently “co-parent” their 4-year-old son, Daniel Jr. “He’s a great father,” she said. ‘Daniel takes DJ to school every morning and I pick him up,” Cole explained. “We’re good.”

As for the cheating rumors, the soulstress said she thought her basketball star husband was faithful. “We just had so much of a great relationship, I felt that it would be possible,” she shared. “No matter how much I dislike this man, it’ll never be to a point where he can’t see his son, period.”
