Back in August, there were some swirling speculations that “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” cast members, especially the guys, refused to film with the show’s first gay (ex) couple Milan Christopher and Miles Brock… well, rapper Omarion confirmed that the rumors were true.
This week, the rapper turned reality star sets the record straight on why he never appeared in scenes with Milan and his ex-boyfriend Miles because of their sexual orientation and had not earned any credits from the music industry.
In an interview with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club”, Omarion said that he doesn’t get to pick and choose who he films with on the show and made it clear he doesn’t have an issue with the gay community.
“I have no problems, no issues with gay people,” Omarion said. “To be completely honest with you, when you say anything, when we talking about that community, they coming for you. I’m not being politically correct because I’m a man and I stand by what I say, how I feel, but to completely honest I’ve never met [Milan].”
The 30-year-old former B2K singer also claims that the opportunity to film with the music producer and his rapper boyfriend was never presented to him.
“That is more of a VH1 thing,” he explained. “They put us in the position to film with people. We don’t have a choice in that.”
We reported back in September that “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” producers hired the two men only to boost the show’s ratings.
Also, Omarion and his fiancee Apryl Jones recently announced that they are expecting baby number two via Instagram. Get the details HERE
